NHC Gig Picks For This Weekend Volume 1

So this weekend the NHC folk are out in force across Glasgow as yet again we are faced with some difficult music choices to make. So many gigs, so little time!

So what is our NHC MUSIC top gig choices for this weekend?

Check them out below, and hopefully we will see you at one of them.

The Twistettes Weird Me Single Launch Support from The Velveteen Riot

McChuills at 7.30 is where a chunk of our staffers will be this Friday, to catch two bands we already love. The Twistettes are worth admission fee to a gig themselves, but with The Velveteen Riot in support, well that's a gig and a half.

Oh, and did we mention it's free entry? So more pennies for the bar, or to buy the Weird Me CD on the night!

StG Presents The Filthy Tongues with guests Run into the night

If The Twistettes isn't your bag then why not head round to Saint Lukes (Which is ten minutes walk from McChuills handily!) and catch the utterly fantastic live act that is The Filthy Tongues who have a new release on the horizon to celebrate too! Run into the night support on this one, and it's £12 Adv, with tickets still available on this very website without those pesky booking fees!

Iain Diamond Takeover at NHC MUSIC

Why not head down to our very own shop for your daytime antics and pre-drinking session this Saturday? We have a host of cracking acts for you, and as usual it will be BYOB, Suitable For All Ages, and Free Entry. Come on out to play, before you go out to play!

A word from Mr Busker Rhymes himself;

So our MC’s are busy traversing a parallel universe where we voted Aye, Prince never died and you still get glass checks.

That means we will be running a Busker Open House with surprise sets from our friends T3xture, t33th, Fnuf, Flew the Arrow, Connor Heafey, Fantastic Lights, suicidal baby whales, dank williams, David Spence, and more.
