The Carnival Of The Dark Arts Is Coming To Town – Don’t You Dare Miss It!

On Friday the 28th April, in Glasgow’s Ivory Blacks, there is a gig happening like no other.

Lions, and tigers, and bears… oh my? Not Quite.

We already did the Alice In Wonderland theme last year, this year we go a bit darker still. We may not have whatever lies beyond the rainbow this time, but we do have some amazing music in the form of The Big Nowhere and the mighty Swam Born Assassins (in their first ever headline slot, which surprises the hell out of me as these guys are the next big thing in Glasgow as far as I am concerned!), burlesque acts bringing possibly the first bed of nails to Ivories,  Theremin Hero, the laser master of festival season in the UK, and did we mention the 25 strong Heavy Metal Harbingers drum squad? No?

Well aye, we got them too.  They aren’t Glasgow regulars so make sure you check them out now that you have the chance. This lot won’t just blow the cobwebs off; they will shake you to the very core and leave you gasping. I’m not sure Ivories has ever had that many drummers under one roof before, we really are breaking all kinds of personal records on the 28th!

The night is hosted by Chrissy Mullen, as he did a great job of hosting one in the past, and we highly encourage fancy dress too. Why not? Any excuse to get dressed up to be honest! Best dressed person wins shop credit to spend on goodies of their choice!

So there you have it, everything you want in a night out, all under one roof, and all for only £8 on the door, or advance. This really is a night you do NOT want to miss.
